オーディオメーカー Bose が 2020 年 3月 12 日に発表した、「Google アシスタント」ビルトインオーバーイヤーヘッドセット「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700」の進化モデル「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC」が、米国のビデオ & カメラ量販店 B&H で予約が開始されました。

「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC」は、「Zoom」や「Google Meet」などのビデオ会議サービスに最適化されている進化モデルです。アダプティブ 8 マイクシステム採用で 11 段階のノイズキャンセルレベル変更に対応。さらに Bluetooth モジュール「Bose USB Link Bluetooth モジュール」も付属し、PC に接続して運用することで、クリアで遅延のない安定したワイヤレス接続を実現します。

「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC」は 2020 年中発売予定として発表されていますが、B&H では 7 月 2 日発売予定として予約が開始されています。本体価格は $449.95。カラーバリエーションは “Triple Black” と “Luxe Silver” の 2 色展開。

ちないに、B&H は「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC」の国外発送に対応していません。直輸入不可です。

「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC」

「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC」は、2019 年 12 月に発売された「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700」と基本デザインは同じものの、機能面で進化し、さらに PC 接続用の Bluetooth モジュール「Bose USB Link Bluetooth モジュール」が付属する進化モデルです。

11 段階で調整できるノイズキャンセリング機能では、周囲のノイズを完全に遮断するほか、周囲の音が聞こえる程度にノイズキャンセリングを抑えるなどの調整が可能。「Zoom」や「Google Meet」などの、ビデオ会議サービスに最適化されています。

ちなみに “UC” は “Unified Communications” の略で、“通信の統合” を意味します。

「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC」と「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700」は別物となるため、「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700」を「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC」にアップグレードすることは不可。

ただし「Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC」は、「Bose USB Link Bluetooth モジュール」を用いなくても Bluetooth 対応スマートフォンなどと接続することも可能。例えば、「Bose USB Link Bluetooth モジュール」を接続している PC と Bluetooth ペアリングしているスマートフォンを切り替えて運用することも可能です。
