HTC の製品管理責任者Mo Versi 氏が自身の Twitter で、「HTC One M8」SIM フリーモデルに対して本日中に Android 6.0（Marshmallow）を配信することを明らかにしました。
また T-mobile モデルの「HTC One M8」は 2016 年初頭、「HTC One M9」に対しては “Comming Soon” ということも同時に、ユーザーの問いに対して明らかにしています。

Sense UI については特に言及されていませんが、4 月の時点で、次のアップデートで Sense 7.0 にアップデートすることも明らかにしていたため、おそらくAndroid 6.0（Marshmallow）と同時に Sense 7.0 も適用されるのでしょう。
